VILLANOVA, Pa. --- In the regular season finale at the Villanova tennis complex on Saturday, April 13, the Wildcat men's tennis team dropped a Big East contest to the Connecticut Huskies by a final score of 6-1. With the loss, Villanova falls to 8-9 on the season and 0-5 in conference play while the Huskies improve to 13-7 overall and 3-3 in the Big East.

The lone victory for the Wildcats came from freshman Ricardo Baraldi at the sixth spot who defeated Connecticut's Mike Louis in straight sets, 7-6, 7-6.

1- Mike Furman (UC) def. Brad Adams (VU) 6-0, 6-4

2- Adam Sadowski (UC) def. A.J. Rohde (VU) 6-4, 6-4

3- Max Zubatsky (UC) def. Ryan Devine (VU) 6-2, 4-6, 7-6

4- Joe Lang (UC) def. Aaron Kusza (VU) 6-4, 6-4

5- Andy Sweatt (UC) def. Andy Herron (VU) 7-5, 6-1

6- Ricardo Baraldi (VU) def. Mike Louis (UC) 7-6, 7-6

DOUBLES:

1- Furman/Lang (UC) def. Adams/Devine (VU) 8-1

2- Sweatt/Sadowski (UC) def. Herron/Kaster (VU) 8-4
