FLUSHING, N.Y. --- On Friday, March 29, the Villanova men's tennis team dropped their second straight Big East contest of the season to the St. John's Red Storm by a score of 6-1. In the loss, the Wildcats (3-6 overall) were led by juniors Brad Adams and Ryan Devine who were victorious at first doubles with an 8-3 victory.

In singles play, Adams fell to St. John's Rick Ferreira 6-2, 6-3 at first singles while senior A.J. Rohde dropped a 6-3, 6-1 contest to Fabian Carchi. Freshman Sean Gallagher gave a valient effort at the No. 6 spot but fell in three sets, 6-2, 1-6, 6-1.

Villanova will return home tomorrow afternoon when they resume Big East play hosting Pittsburgh at 12:00 p.m.
