Piscataway, N.J. - Freshmen Sumanth Chittajallu (Columbus, Ohio) and Anuj Malhotra (Staten Island, N.Y.) won their doubles match 8-6, but Rutgers (4-5, 2-0 BIG EAST) defeated Villanova (6-7, 1-2 BIG EAST) 7-0 yesterday afternoon.

The Scarlet Knights swept the singles matches in straight sets and won the doubles point by taking the first two matches 8-3 and 8-6 respectively.

Chittajallu and Malhotra defeated Gordie Milchutsky and Andrew Tervooren in the no. 3 doubles spot.
