Villanova, Pa. - Men's tennis welcomed Lehigh to the Villanova Tennis Complex on Tuesday, March 25. The Wildcats improved their record to 5-8 on the season with a close 4-3 victory over the Mountain Hawks.

The Villanova combination of John Toppel (Los Altos, Calif./Bellarmine Prep) and Aaron Kusza (Walingford, Conn./Cheshire Academy) began the day for the 'Cats with a 8-2 victory over the Lehigh double team of Swanson and Dittman.

In singles play the Wildcats won four of six matches. Ryan Devine (Oshkosh, Wis./Oshkosh West) and Kuzsa won the number 1 and 2 matches in three sets. Rounding out Villanova's winners were Ricardo Baraldi (Delray Beach, Fla./Cardinal Gibbon) and Carl Fenzl (Oldsmar, Fla./Berkley Prep).

The St. Joseph's Hawks are next on the list of Wildcat opponents. That match is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on March 31 at St. Joe's.
