Philadelphia, Pa. - A hard fought battle landed the Villanova men's tennis team on the losing end yesterday afternoon, as they fell to Temple 4-2 at the TU Pavilion. The Wildcats drop to 1-6 on the season, while the Owls capture their second victory in two days climbing to 8-7.

Juniors Scott Fahrendorf and Dimitri Chimerakis managed to capture the third and fourth spots, respectively, for Villanova's two points. The win moves Fahrendorf up to 3-2 in singles matches, while Chimerakis closes his gap and climbs to 2-5 for the season. Three other Wildcats took their competition into a third set before eventually falling to their respective opponent.
