RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Villanova men's tennis team wrapped up its spring break trip to the west coast as UC Riverside defeated the Wildcats 6-1 Saturday afternoon at Andulka Park in Riverside, Calif.

The loss drops Villanova to 0-7 on the season and 0-4 during its stay in Calif. UC Riverside picked up its first win of the year in 15 matches.

Tim Abbracciamento (Robbinsville, N.J.) earned his second consecutive victory after knocking off Sean Robles at the No. 6 singles slot. The junior breezed his way to a 6-3, 6-1 win to clinch the Wildcats only point of the afternoon.

Villanova will return to action next Saturday when the Wildcats are set to compete against Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pa.
