Steve Reiniger enters his 15th season as head coach of the Villanova women's tennis program in 2011-12.

Reiniger began his Villanova career as an assistant for the Wildcat men's and women's tennis teams under Bob Batman in 1994. He graduated from West Chester University in 1994 with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in philosophy. At West Chester, Reiniger played four years of varsity tennis, reaching the conference finals in singles and doubles during his last two seasons. As a senior, he was named his team's Most Valuable Player.

Reiniger is U.S.P.T.A. certified and has 12 years of teaching and coaching experience at a number of levels. He has taught at several clubs in Pennsylvania, including a stint as the teaching pro and director of junior development at Radley Run Country Club, the head teaching pro and the head platform tennis pro at the Merion Cricket Club. Reiniger is presently the director of tennis at the Whitford Country Club.

Reiniger resides in Collegeville, Pa. with his wife, Beth, a Villanova alumna, and their daughter Rachel and son David.
