Spring 2017: Competed at singles matches at the No. 2 through No. 5 spots…Went 1-0 at the No. 2 singles, as well as the No. 3 singles spot…Played his best at the No. 4 singles spot finishing with a 13-5 record…Went 0-1 at the No. 5 singles….Was recognized by the BIG EAST for his Notable Performances on February 15…Named the BIG EAST Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week on April 19.

Fall 2016: Finished fifth at the Villanova Invitational combined with Jimmy Purdy…Saved four match points over Saint Joseph’s and won all matches played in at Nova Invitational…Finished as the runner-up in the Flight Two Singles at the St. Joseph’s Invitational after forcing a third match...Automatically qualified for the main draws at the ITA Regionals...Combined with Purdy to compete in the doubles draws.

Newark Academy:
Four year varsity letterwinner in tennis..Captain his senior year...Led his team to the New Jersey Tournament of Champions in 2016 with a 32-0 record on the year...Made the state singles quarterfinals in 2015.

Personal: September 2, 1997 in Montclair, N.J....Son of Vincent and Linda Flanagan...Has one younger brother, Drew...Hobbies and interests include; Playing golf and basketball, spending time with family and friends, and going to Giants and Yankees games...Chose Villanova because he loved the reputation of the business school and was honored to become apart of a D1 tennis team...His mother and aunt also attended Villanova...Majoring in Business.
