Chris Seitz Makes All-BIG EAST
Villanova men's tennis junior Chris Seitz has been named to the All-BIG EAST team, the conference announced Friday afternoon. It's the first time a Villanova men's tennis player has been honored as a part of the team since Thomas O'Brien made the team back in 2010.
Villanova Men's Tennis Loses Season Finale
In the back draw of the BIG EAST Tennis Tournament the Villanova Wildcats took on the Butler Bulldogs and were defeated by a score of 4-3. With the defeat, the 2015 spring season is now over for the Wildcats.
Men's Tennis Competes in BIG EAST Tournament
As the No. 8 seed the Villanova Wildcats played No. 1 seed St. John's in the BIG EAST Tournament on Friday morning and were defeated by a score of 4-0. The team will go on to play Butler tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. in the back-draw match and St. John's will go on to play Xavier tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. in the next round of the tournament.
Seeds, Matchups Set for 2015 BIG EAST Tennis Championships
The seeds and schedule have been set for the 2015 BIG EAST Men's and Women's Tennis Championships Presented by New York Life, which is set to take place Thursday, April 23 through Sunday, April 26 at the Barbara S. Wynne Tennis Center in Indianapolis, Ind.
Men's Tennis Downs St. Joseph's
The Villanova men's tennis team defeated the Saint Joseph's Hawks at home on Tuesday afternoon. Nova took all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point and then took four of the six singles points.
Men's Tennis Defeated at Richmond
The men's tennis team was defeated on Saturday afternoon by a score of 7-0. The only Villanova win was the number two doubles team of Chris Seitz and Bradley Noyes. They defeated Canyon Teague and James Aronson 8-5.
Men's Tennis Beats Loyola Maryland Decisively
Men's tennis traveled to Baltimore, Md. on Sunday to take on the Loyola Maryland Greyhounds and defeated them 6-1.
Men's Tennis Falls to Georgetown
In their first match since April 2, the Wildcats faced the Georgetown Hoyas and played a close match but were outlasted 4-3. The Wildcats won the doubles point and both Chris Seitz and Michael Rosengren won their singles matches.
