April 21, 1998 - Villanova Men's Tennis dominates on Senior Day
Men's Tennis Downs St. Joseph's
The Villanova men's tennis team defeated the Saint Joseph's Hawks at home on Tuesday afternoon. Nova took all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point and then took four of the six singles points.
Men's Tennis Defeated at Richmond
The men's tennis team was defeated on Saturday afternoon by a score of 7-0. The only Villanova win was the number two doubles team of Chris Seitz and Bradley Noyes. They defeated Canyon Teague and James Aronson 8-5.
Men's Tennis Beats Loyola Maryland Decisively
Men's tennis traveled to Baltimore, Md. on Sunday to take on the Loyola Maryland Greyhounds and defeated them 6-1.
Men's Tennis Falls to Georgetown
In their first match since April 2, the Wildcats faced the Georgetown Hoyas and played a close match but were outlasted 4-3. The Wildcats won the doubles point and both Chris Seitz and Michael Rosengren won their singles matches.
Men's Tennis Takes Down UConn
The men's tennis team took on the UConn Huskies earlier on Sunday afternoon and came out with a victory by a score of 5-2. Nova won all three doubles matches for the doubles point, and the Wildcats won four of the six singles matches.
Men's Tennis Can't Outlast Bucknell
The Villanova men's tennis team traveled to Lewisburg, Pa. on Tuesday to take on the Bucknell Bison. The Wildcats took the doubles point and Chris Seitz and Michael Rosengren both won their singles matches.
Men's Tennis Bested by Xavier
The Villanova men's tennis team traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio looking for their first conference win of the season. Unfortunately the team lost 7-0 to Xavier only winning one of the three doubles matches. Xavier won the other two and took the doubles point.
Men's Tennis Loses Conference Matchup with Butler
The Villanova men's tennis team played in their first conference matchup on Friday night against Butler. The Butler Bulldogs defeated the Wildcats 6-1. The Wildcats only won the doubles point and couldn't gain any singles victories.
