Men's Soccer Signs Six Players to National Letters of Intent
The six Villanova incoming freshmen announced today are forward Vince Manzo (Washington,, Mich.); midfielder Theo Quartey (Accra, Ghana); midfielder and defender Samual Rogers (Seattle, Wash.); back and midfielder Richie Schlentz (West Chester, Pa.),midfielder and defender Max Zandi (West Chester, Pa.), and goalkeeper Carson Williams (Plano, Texas).
Polley and Bradley Selected to NCSCAA All-Region Unit

Breakthrough Season Concludes as Wildcats Fall to No. 24 Akron, 2-0
A successful season that will long be remembered for its breakthrough milestones came to an end on Thursday night as Villanova (10-8-3) fell by a 2-0 score to No. 24 Akron (13-5-3) at FirstEnergy Field in an NCAA Championship first round match. The host Zips controlled possession effectively for much of the evening and scored a goal in each half to eliminate the Wildcats from advancing to a second round contest against #7 national seed Indiana on Sunday afternoon.

The Villanova men's soccer team has qualified for their first NCAA Tournament in program history and is heading to Akron, Ohio to take on the Akron Zips Thursday. The Wildcats will travel to Ohio for a 5 P.M. kickoff against the Zips who just a season ago where in the College Cup Final Four.
