VILLANOVA, Pa. - The men's soccer game scheduled for Sunday afternoon between the Villanova Wildcats and the St. Joseph's Hawks has been postponed in deference to the tragic events that have played out this week in New York City and Washington, D.C.

The Wildcats were slated to meet the Hawks in a 1:00 p.m. match at the Villanova Soccer Complex on Sept. 16. The Philadelphia Soccer Seven contest has been postponed and the hope is that it can be rescheduled.

On Sept. 12, the men's soccer game at La Salle was also postponed.

Villanova is scheduled to resume action on Sept. 19 at 3:30 p.m. at the Soccer Complex against another Soccer Seven rival, Temple.
