VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova Wildcats incoming freshmen class is ranked No. 34 in the College Soccer News poll of the nation's top recruiting crops. The Villanova class includes 10 newcomers.

In addition, College Soccer News identified a pair of 'Cat new arrivals as members of the '100 Freshmen to Watch in 2008.

Matt Margiotta, the Delaware Gatorade High School Player of the Year, is one of that group. The native of Bear, Del., played at the Salesianum School and his club soccer for FC Delco. He was voted as an NSCAA High School All-American as a senior in 2007.

Will Ogden is the other incoming Wildcat to be cited by College Soccer News. The product of Armonk, N.Y., notched 64 goals and 39 assists in his career as a forward at Byram Hills High School. He earned first team all-state honors and was the New York Gatorade Player of the Year.

Villanova opens its season later this month, on Aug. 29, when it hosts Temple at 4:00 p.m.
