Villanova, Pa. - Andrew Kulinski lofted a soft shot over the head of Villanova goalkeeper Sean Teesdale (Blue Bell, Pa.) in the first overtime to give St. Joseph's a 2-1 victory over Villanova in a Philadelphia Soccer Seven Contest played Saturday afternoon. St. Joseph's improves to 9-7-2 with one game remaining while the Wildcats end their season with a 5-13-0 mark.

After a scoreless first half, St. Joseph's gained the upper hand in the 61st minute. Kulinksi (Turnersville, N.J.) was pulled down in the penalty area and the Hawks were awarded a penalty kick. Jim McGuigan took the shot and beat Teesdale to his right side and the Hawks had a 1-0 lead.

Villanova rallied to knot matters at 79:54. Freshman Josh Lopuski (Montville, N.J.) served a corner kick into the box, where senior John Keleher (Kansas City, Mo.) got a head on the ball and it sailed past St. Joseph's goalkeeper Kevin Dougher (Blue Bell, Pa.) to tie the contest at one.

In the overtime period sophomore Adam Duffy (Glenmoore, Pa.) lofted a long ball ahead to Kulinski. Kulinski collected it and then lofted a shot over Teesdale into the top corner of the net to make a 2-1 final in favor of the Hawks.

Teesdale and Dougher each made five saves in net.
