Brings good size and a willingness to battle that serves him well at forward or on defense ... A solid defender often used on the outside when he appears on the back line ... Brings good size but is is quick enough to chase smaller foes ... Also knows how to finish when the opportunities present themselves.


Limited to only two appearances by a leg injury suffered in August ... Faced only DePaul on Sept. 30 and Syracuse on Oct. 7 ... Was shut down for the final two games of the campaign.


Finished fourth on the club in scoring with two goals, three assists and seven points in 18 games ... Made nine starts ... Enjoyed his biggest offensive day of the season on the final afternoon of the regular season in a meeting with DePaul ... His goal at the 44:29 mark gave Villanova a 2-1 lead it did not relinquish ... Later, he made a steal and fed a cross to classmate Mike DelGuercio, who buried the shot to make the final 3-1 and wrap up a Big East Tournament home game for the Wildcats ... On Oct. 19 his throw-in set up a Patrick Gallagher goal in the 84th minute to help produce a 1-1 tie against Lafayette at the Soccer Complex.


Made four starts and 16 appearances on defense ... Logged important minutes in relief of Jon Wells ... Also saw time in the central defense when Chris Edgar was moved to a forward position at times in a quest for more offensive firepower.
