Villanova alumnus Joe Taylor became the program's first director of soccer operations in July 2010. In this position Taylor coordinates many of the day-to-day needs of the team. He graduated in May of 2009 with a communications degree.

2008

Finished second on the team in scoring while serving as team captain as the Wildcats qualified for the BIG EAST Tournament, where they fell at Providence in the opening round.

2007

Finished second on the Wildcats in scoring with 11 points, including four goals and three assists ... Named All-Philadelphia Soccer Seven ... His overtime goal off a steal at midfield was the game-winner in a thrilling come from behind victory at Rutgers on Oct. 3 ... Also scored the game-winner in a 4-0 victory over Saint Joseph's at the Soccer Complex on Sept. 12 ... His assist set up Mike Seamon's goal in a 1-0 win over Marquette on Sept. 21 ... Credited with an assist on a Seamon goal in a 3-2 triumph at Syracuse on Oct. 24.

2006

Tied for second on the club in scoring with seven points ... Began his season in style with a goal and an assist in a 3-1 victory over Drexel at the Soccer Complex on Aug .25 ... Added an assist in a 2-0 win over Richmond two days later ... Chipped in with an assist in a 2-1 BIG EAST victory over Rutgers on Sept. 27 ... Scored a goal in a season-ending 2-1 loss to Cincinnati on Oct. 21 ... All seven of his points in 2006 were recorded at home.

2005

Began his college career in dramatic fashion, taking a feed from Jon Wells and breaking in alone on goal and deposting a shot in net to defeat Delaware 1-0 in the final minute on Sept. 1 ... Named Big East Rookie of the Week on Sept. 22 ... Recorded a pair of assists in a 2-0 victory over Pittsburgh on Sept. 16 and followed that with a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over West Virginia on Sept. 18 ... Ended the campaign as the club's points leader with 11 ... Was tabbed Philadelphia Soccer Seven Freshman of the Year for his strong efforts.
