Steve Jolley joined the Villanova staff as a volunteer assistant coach prior to the start of the 2012 season. Jolley is a former college standout at William & Mary who played ten seasons in Major League Soccer before retiring in 2007.
"We are extremely excited to add Steve to the staff this year," stated head coach Tom Carlin. "For us to be able to add a 10 year MLS veteran to our staff is big time for the program."
Jolley was a four-time first team All-CAA choice and All-American at William & Mary from 1993-96. He began his professional career in `1997, which was highlighted by an appearance in the 2001 MLS All-Star game. The league also named him Humanitarian of the Year in 2002.
Upon the completion of his playing career, Jolley later served as a color television analyst for the Houston Dynamo and FC Dallas.
