Remains a defensive leader ... A defensive mainstay with the tools to help in the midfield as well ... Brings steadiness and quality ball skills to the field each time out ... Dependable in traffic and is often used at the offensive end on set pieces.


Played every one of Villanova's 17 games and no Wildcat logged more minutes ... Produced nine shots, two on goal ... Most of those came when he was brought into the opponent's box for free or corner kicks ... Often charged with shadowing the opponent's top scoring threat.


Spent much of the season in the central defense, where he was steady ... Appeared in 16 games and was in the starting lineup on 14 of those occasions ... Attempted four shots, mostly on set pieces when moved into the box ... Contributed his first career assist for his only point of the campaign.


Appeared in 17 games, sitting out a non-conference game against Lafayette late in the season to avoid picking up a fifth yellow card ... Ended the season with two goals on 20 shots ... His goal off a feed from Neil McNulty at 76:18 on Oct. 3 against Connecticut helped the `Cats gain a 2-2 tie against the Huskies.
