His goal staked VU to a 1-0 victory over Lehigh in a non-conference match played on West Campus on Oct. 15 ... Contributed a pair of assists in a 3-0 victory over Marist at home on Sept. 7 ... Added assists in back-to-back BIG EAST games against Seton Hall and St. John's in October.


Named to the BIG EAST All-Rookie team ... Appeared in all 20 of Villanova's games as a starter ... Began the year in the midfield but was shifted to an outside back slot after his classmate Liam Callahan was lost for the season with a leg injury on Sept. 1 at Colgate ... Finished the season with five assists ... Earned his first college point with an assist in a 4-1 victory over Stony Brook on Villanova's West Campus on Aug. 28 ... Added assists in non-league road wins over Colgate and Penn ... Also picked up an assist in a 1-0 win at DePaul on Oct. 6.


Parents are Rich and Linda Sheridan ... Played club soccer for New York Red Bulls U18 Development Academy. Was named a 2011 NSCAA Regional All-American and to the 2011 Pennsylvania All-State Team. In addition, he was a member of the 2009 Super Y ID2 ODP National Top 18
