Dr. M. Randy Hill joined the Villanova coaching staff in August 2011. He brings with him an extensive background working with athletes, including elite Olympian and junior sport athletes.

Most recently, Hill has consulted with the Philadelphia Union as its director of sport science. He also created the Athlete Development Program for YSC Sports. This unique program teaches the basic athletic foundation skills of agility, balance and coordination through fun interactive games. In addition, he also consults for High Performance Sports.

Hill served as head physiologist for the the United States Ski and Snowboard Association, winners of 21 Olympic medals at the Vancouver Olympics, from 2008-10. He has more than two decades of experience working with junior to Olympic athletes, including 35 individual Olympic, world champion, and world record holders.

A 1989 graduate of Western State College of Colorado, Hill holds a masters of science degree from Northern Michigan University as well as a doctor of philosophy, exercise phsyiology from the University of Utah.
