Men's Soccer vs. Lafayette

Villanova played to a 0-0 draw at Lafayette on October 4, 2011.


A crafty, technically skilled midfielder ... Is very adroit at making plays to beat defenders wide and create scoring chances for his teammates .... Brings a great attitude and approach each day and is an alumnus of the Villanova Boys Soccer Camp.


Served as a team captain in his senior campaign ... Started all 18 games he appeared in, primarily in the defensive midfield ... Produced eight shots ... Named winner of the Connor Esposito 12th Man Award at the team's annual banquet.


Appeared in 20 games for the Wildcats and was a starter in 15 of them ... Generated 16 shots and one goal on the season ... His goal was scored in a 3-1 victory over Seton Hall in the opening round of the BIG EAST Championship, the Wildcats' first ever post-season triumph on their home pitch at the Villanova Soccer Complex.


An early season injury cost him two games but he would go on to appear in 19 contests, drawing five starting assignments ... Generated eight shots and spent a good bit of time in the defensive midfield.


Appeared in 19 games for the Wildcats with 13 starting assignments... Produced ten shots with four shots on goal...Had a goal in the 1-0 victory over Penn.

Personal: A Cardinal Scholar Award winner ... Played his club soccer for the Dallas Texans U18 Academy ... Also a part of the North Texas ODP ... Was a four-year varsity starter at John Paul II ... Chosen first team all-state and first team all-district in 2009.
