Villanova, Pa. - With the school year underway, the Villanova men's lacrosse team is returning to action. In order to prepare for the upcoming season, the Wildcats will be participating in select tournaments and events throughout the northeast during the month of October.

The team will start off with the Nick Collelouri Lacrosse Classic on October 11th. The tournament, which will take place at Ridley High School in Pennsylvania, aims to raise awareness and funds to fight Leukemia and Lymphoma. Villanova will open against St. Joe's at 11 a.m., followed by Cabrini at 12:30 p.m. and will finish the day against Princeton at 3:30 p.m.

On October 18th, the Wildcats will head to SUNY Binghamton where they will take part in a three team scrimmage. First up will be Siena College at 12:30 p.m. followed by Binghamton at 2:30 p.m.

To finish off the fall, the Wildcats will be playing in the annual Alumni game. On October 24th 8:15 p.m., the varsity team will match up against the alumni. Come out and support Villanova as they prepare for the 2008-09 season.
