BALTIMORE, Md. - Senior attack Jack Rice (Baltimore, Md.) and midfielder Max Hart (Bethesda, Md.) end their collegiate careers this coming Friday after being chosen to represent the South Team in the 72nd Annual United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Lax World North-South All-Star game, as announced Wednesday evening by the USILA.
The USILA/Lax World North-South Game will be played on Friday, May 24th at Cabrini College. The Villanova Men's Lacrosse staff - Head Coach Mike Corrado, Associate Head Coach Simon Connor, Assistant Coach Andy German and Volunteer Assistant Coach Joe Canuso - will serve as coaches for the "South" team in the prestigious event which began in 1940 and will coach their two former players for one final contest.
The Division I/II North team will be coached by Eric Seremet, the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at the United States Air Force Academy. Seremet is just completing his fifth year as the Air Force Head Coach.
Each school is limited to two selections for the rosters. The last Wildcat chosen to play in the game was Michael Vigilante, who earned MVP honors, in 2012.
