BALTIMORE, Md. - Villanova Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Mike Corrado has been announced as one of two coaches for the USILA North/South All-Star game slated to take place on Friday, May 24th at Cabrini College. Corrado was named the 2013 BIG EAST Coach of the Year and finished the season with an 7-8 record and 5-1 mark in the conference.
The 72nd United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/ LaxWorld North-South Games will be played at the Edith Robb Dixon Field on the campus of Cabrini College in Radnor, PA. The Division III game will be played at 3:00 PM followed by the Division I/II game at 5:30 PM. This tradition started in 1940 and has been played every year with the exception of 1944 and 1945.
The Division I/II North team will be coached by Eric Seremet, the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at the United States Air Force Academy. Seremet is just completing his fifth year as the Air Force Head Coach.
The Division I/II South team will be coached by Mike Corrado, the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at Villanova University. The 2012-13 season marks Corrado's seventh year as the Head Coach at Villanova and his 18th year overall with the program.
The Division III North Team will be coached by John Johnson, the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at St. John Fisher College. Johnson is in his seventh season at the helm of Fisher's program.
The Division III South Team will be coached by Gene Peluso, the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at Stevens Institute of Technology. Peluso is in his fourth year at Stevens and his fourteenth year at the collegiate level.
