NEW YORK, N.Y. - Villanova sophomore Jack Curran (Fair Haven, N.J.) and senior John LoCascio (Fairfield, N.J.) have been named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the week of April 14th, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. The Wildcat duo played pivotal roles in Villanova's 15-11 win over Rutgers last weekend.

LoCascio registered one goal and two assists for three points in the win over the Scarlet Knights. Additionally, the senior co-captain notched three ground balls and caused two turnovers while going 2-for-5 on faceoff's for the evening. On the year, LoCascio leads the team with 57 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers and adds in another 15 points via four goals and 11 assists.

Curran earns his first weekly honor roll nod with today's announcement. The sophomore midfielder notched a team-high five points via three goals and two assists against Rutgers while adding in four ground balls. His point, goal and assists total for the night exceeded career-high's for Curran. On the year, he's tallied 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points - good for second on the team.

Villanova returns to action this coming Saturday when they travel to Jamaica, N.Y. to face the St. John's Red Storm. Game time is slated for 1 p.m.
