Villanova, Pa. - The men's lacrosse team is heading to Easton, Pa where they will face the Leopards of Lafayette University on Saturday, February 17. The season opener is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Rappolt Field. Last season, the Wildcats sealed a victory over the Leopards with 14-4 edge.

For the 2007 season, the Wildcats are returning with 31 letterwinners, including eight starters. Among those returning are junior Chris MacDonald who was selected as a member of the second team All-CAA for his efforts last season. Joining him are sophomores Tim Langan and Matthew Fritts who were both awarded spots on the CAA All-Rookie Team as freshmen.
