Three Men's Lacrosse Games to Appear on National Television

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova men's lacrosse team will appear on national television three times this season on the CBS Sports Network and ESPNU when the Wildcats face Georgetown, Denver and Johns Hopkins for the upcoming 2014 season.

The Wildcats kick off their televised slate on Tuesday, March 25th when Villanova hosts Georgetown at Villanova Stadium which will be featured on the CBS Sports Network. The network will carry another BIG EAST matchup on Friday, April 4th against Denver as the Pioneers make their inaugural debut in the BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse conference for the first time this season.

Villanova will appear on ESPNU on Wednesday, April 23rd when the Wildcats travel to Baltimore, Md. to face Johns Hopkins for a midweek matchup. It marks the first time since the 2002 season that the Blue Jays and Wildcats will face each other at historic Homewood Field on the JHU campus.

Additionally, Fox Sports 1 has also agreed to carry the final of the BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Championship, which will take place on Saturday, May 3rd and is once again hosted by Villanova University for the third-straight year.

The Wildcats open their 2014 season on Saturday, Feb. 15th when they travel to Bethlehem, Pa. to face the Lehigh Mountain Hawks. Game time is slated for 3 p.m.
