WASHINGTON, D.C. - The eighth-ranked Georgetown men's lacrosse team jumped out to an 8-0 lead after one quarter of play behind four goals from junior attackman Scott Urick (Fairfax, Va./Robinson) and two goals and three assists from junior All-American Greg McCavera (Lynbrook, N.Y./Lynbrook) and cruised to a 19-2 victory over Villanova on Saturday, April 25, at Harbin Field. McCavera went on to set the Hoyas' single season scoring record when he picked up his fourth assist and sixth point of the game, giving him 63 points on the season, early in the third quarter. The win was Georgetown's fifth-straight as it improves to 9-3 on the season, while the Wildcats fall to 6-8.
