Men's Lacrosse Falls to Quakers
Villanova, Pa.--- The Villanova University men's lacrosse team (4-7) lost to the University Pennsylvania Quakers (4-6) 14-4, on Wednesday, Apr. 15, at Villanova University. The Wildcats were lead offensively by sophomore Eric Dauer who tallied three goals on eight shots. The 'Cats could not march much of comeback as they spotted the Quakers a 6-1 first period lead. The Quakers had eight different goal scorers on the night and were led by sophomore Peter Janney who registered four goals. Seniors Joe Mauro and Mike Burka each netted two goals in the victory. With the lose the Wildcats fall to 4-7 on the season. Their next game will be against Boston College on Saturday, Apr. 18, at Villanova Stadium. The Quakers improve to 4-6 on the season.
