Men's Lacrosse Falls to Drexel

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova men's lacrosse team (2-3-0) lost to #26 Drexel University 13-6, on Sunday, Mar. 15, at Villanova Stadium on the campus of Villanova University.

Sophomore Jack McTigue and freshman Andrew Bogle lead the offense for the 'Cats as they each netted two goals. Junior Dave D'Amico and sophomore Tom Lasky each had one goal in the losing effort. Drexel was lead by freshman Jeff Spano and senior Jake Bunting who each netted three goals. Senior Jeff Iannarino added two assists in the victory. Between the pipes for Villanova junior Brendan Keneally had 9 saves and for Drexel junior Matt Enoch had 18 saves to lead Drexel.

With the lose the Wildcats fall to 2-3-0 on the season. Their next game will be against Radford on Saturday, March 21, at Radford. The Drexel return to action on Sunday, March 22, when they will host Vermont.
