PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania- The Villanova men's golf team will be competing in the City 6 Championship at the Union League Golf Club on Saturday, Nov. 4. This is the Wildcats' final tournament of the fall season.
Villanova will compete against host Drexel, La Salle, Penn, St. Joseph's and Temple. This marks the fourth time the tournament has taken place. St. Joseph's won the City 6 Championship in 2015, and Temple edged Villanova in the first playoff hole by two strokes to win the title last year.
The Union League Golf Club is par 70 course with a total yardage of 6,470. The course is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is partnered by the Torresdale Frankford Country Club.
Villanova hasn't been in action since Oct. 15, when they wrapped up play at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. Andy Butler was the top performer for Villanova at the tournament, carding rounds of 71-71-75= 217 (+1). He finished tied for 37th place overall.
