Condon Ties for Fifth; Wildcats Fourth in Colgate/Cornell Golf Invitational

Dugin Condon (So., Pittsford, NY) placed fifth among the top ten golfers to help the Villanova men's golf team to a forth-place finish in the team competition at the Colgate/Cornell Invitational. On Saturday Sept. 13, teams played at Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in Ithca, NY and on Sunday Sept. 14 teams played at Seven Oaks Golf Course in Hamilton, NY.

Condon shot 76-73 for a two day total of 149 to tie for fifth place with three other golfers, Rich Walbroel of St. Bonaventure, Justin McCarter of Indiana Univ. of PA., and Kevin Fajt also of Indiana Univ. of PA. Chris Ellis (Fr., Boulder, CO) and Steve Horkey (Sr., Mequon, WI) were not far behind Condon, Ellis had a two day total of 76-79=155 and Horky 80-78=158. Rounding out the scoring for the Wildcats, Tim Walker shot 77, 82 for a two day total of 159.

The Wildcats next match is Sept. 19-20 at the Bucknell Invitational.
