Feduke Finishes Tied for 28th; Wildcats 13th at Stabler Invitational

Garrett Feduke (Fr., Vestal, NY) placed 28th as the Villanova Wildcat men's golf team placed 13th in the team competition at the Stabler Invitational. The tournament was held on Oct. 17-18, 1997 at Lehigh Valley College.

Feduke shot 82-75 for a two day total of 157 to claim 28th place. The University of Pennsylvania men's golf team won the team title with a 27-over par 603 to win the two-day, 36-hole tournament by one stroke over runner-up St. John's. Liberty (611), Princeton (612) and William & Mary (613) rounded out the top five. Rob Goldfaden of the University of Pennsylvania won the individual medalist honors, beating out Ben McConahey of Princeton by one stroke.

Rounding out the scoring for the Wildcats were, Nick Masseli (Fr., Hopewell Junction, NY) who shot 80-79 for a two-day total of 159, Steve Horky (Sr., Mequon, WI) 81-82 for 163, Tim Walker (So., Englewood, CO) 85-80 for 165 and Chris Ellis (Fr., Boulder, CO) 86-79 for 165.
