Lehigh Kelly Gutshall Invite Final Results

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - In the final round of the Lehigh Kelly Gutshall Invite, the Villanova golf team brought home a 3rd place team finish with a combined score of 611 (303, 308) after 36 holes. Drexel and Buckell finished in first and second place in combined team scores, respectively.

Three Wildcats successfully placed within the top-15 at the annual invitational. Junior Brendan Kelly (74, 77) turned in a team-low 5th place with a weekend total of 151 while sophomore Bret McGaughey (73, 82) and junior Colin List (78, 77) each tied for 15th place with a combined score of 155. Rounding out the Villanova score sheet was a 19th place finish by sophomore Brian Colbert (75, 81) and a 29th place finish by freshman Steve Skurla (81, 80).

Drexel University's Kyle Davis took overall top individual honors with rounds of 72 and 76, good for a two-day total of 148 (+4) on the links. Ben Jessen (73, 76) of Colgate and Carter Rufe (76, 73) of Lafayette each tied for 2nd place overall, good for 5 over par for the weekend.
