FLOURTOWN, Pa.--Sophomore Brian Feeney carded back-to-back rounds of 77-77=154 over two days at the par-71 Philadelphia Cricket Club, and Villanova placed tenth in a field of 13 teams at the local Big 5 Classic. Feeney tied for 22nd out of 65 golfers in the field.

In windy and cold conditions during Sunday's final round, Feeney matched classmate Brock Bergman for the team's low score in the second round. Bergman finished in a tie for 26th place with a 78-77=155. The sophomore pair were the only Wildcats to post a round in the 70's on Sunday.

Villanova's two freshmen each tied for 45th place with a two-day total of 159. Patrick Murphy, who entered the weekend with a 72.83 stroke average in six rounds, produced scores of 78-81 for the weekend, while Kouch carded rounds of 76-83=159. His 5-over-par 76 in Saturday's opening round was the low score for the Wildcats on the weekend. Senior captain Charlie Nettleton rounded out the Villanova five with rounds of 85-83=168 in the tournament.

Princeton took the team title with a two-day score of 589 to beat William & Mary by 10 strokes. The two schools were the only ones among 13 teams to produce a team score under 600. Jason Gerken of Princeton was the only golfer in the field to shoot even par, and took medalist honors with consecutive rounds of 71-71=142.

Villanova closes out its fall tournament schedule on Sunday and Monday at the Georgetown Invitational. The tournament is a 36-hole format and will be held at the par-72 Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Va.
