JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. - On the second day of competition at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate hosted by East Tennessee State University, the Villanova Wildcats are in 14th place with a team score of 645. Peter Mandich, Robby Meador and Ted Brennan are all currently tied for 71st place while Lucas Trim and Scott Miller are in 75th and 78th in the individual standings, respectively. Play concludes tomorrow with one final round to determine the team and individual winners.
Kent State leads the field after concluding the day with a two-round score of -12 (564) while Virginia Tech, Virginia, ETSU and UNC Wilmington round out the top five teams for the competition. Tennessee and Wake Forest are both tied for 6th place while Memphis, Coastal Carolina, Furman, Missouri, Army, Penn State and Villanova round out the team scoring.
Virginia's Derek Bard and Virginia Tech's Scott Vincent are both tied for first place in the individual race and are at -9 after two rounds of play for a combined total of 135.
The Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate will conclude tomorrow as the Wildcats look to improve and solidify their standings.
