4/22/08 Wildcats Finish Big East Championship in 11th Place In the final round of the BIG EAST Championship on Tuesday morning, Villanova shot a team round of 317 and finished in 11th place out of 12 teams at the conference tournament. The Wildcats finished the 54-hole event with a team score of 305-298-317=920 (+56). Individually, junior Brett Bergman (Pittsburgh, Pa.) finished in a tie for 18th place in the field of 60 golfers with a combined score of 73-74-77=224 (+8). more[+]
4/21/08 Villanova Tied for Eighth After Day 2 of the BIG EAST Championships In the second round of the BIG EAST Championship the Wildcats moved into a tie for eighth place with a strong team performance of all counted scores being a 74 or 75. With an overall score of 603 Villanova finished only three shots out of fifth place. more[+]
