Villanova got off to a great start at the BIG EAST Match Play event being played at the par-72, 7,154-yard Reunion Resort's Watson Course in Orlando, Florida. Villanova defeated BIG EAST foe DePaul 3.5 to 2.5 in the opening round of the event.
