Spring 2013: Matched his best finish of the Spring season at the Yale Spring Opener, where he led the team and finished tied for 2nd place overall with rounds of 73-69--142... Matched his best finish of the Spring season at the Wildcat Invitational where he led the team and finished in sole possession of 2nd place overall after carding rounds of 73-71-73--217... Finished second on the team and tied for 17th place overall at the Harmony Golf Preserve Intercollegiate, carding rounds of 74-76-76--226 (+10)... Posted a round of 79 in a rare duel match with The College of Coastal Georgia... Led the team and finished tied for 31st place overall at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate with rounds of 71-88-70--229... Finished fourth on the team and tied for 41st place overall at the BIG EAST Championship with rounds of 74-79-76--229.

Fall 2012: Recorded the best finish of his career at the Lehigh Invitational, finishing second overall and second on the team with rounds of 70-74--144 (E)... Finished tied for 4th place overall and second on the team at the CHAMPS/Patriot Intercollegiate with rounds of 72-71-69--212 (-1)... Started the season with a tied for 29th place finish at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate, posting rounds of 80-69-76--225 (+8)... Tied for 13th place overall and finished second on the team at the Adams Cup of Newport, carding rounds of 73-73-78--215 (+11)... Finished 5th on the team and tied for 70th place overall at the Big 5 Invitational, carding rounds of 85-80--165 (+25).

Spring 2012: Began the spring with a third place team finish at the USF Invitational, finishing tied for 45th with rounds of 76-73-77--226 (+10)... Posted a tied for 50th place at the Pinehurst Invitational, finishing fourth on the team with a score of 76-81-71--230 (+17)... Had a overall season best finish tied for 3rd at the Wildcat Invitational, pacing the team by carding rounds of 77-67-76--220 (+7)... Paced the Wildcats tied for 9th at the Navy Spring Invitational with rounds of 71-79--150 (+8)... Concluded the season at the BIG EAST Championship tied for 15th place overall with a score of 75-74-71--220 (+4).

Fall 2011: Had the second highest finish of the fall season at the Adam's Cup and tied for a team low for score in a round with a 68 (-2)...Had one top-10 and one top-20 finish...Led the Wildcats at The McLaughlin (Sept. 16-17) with a tie for 18th place finish after shooting a 76-68-68--212 (+2)...Notched his first top-10 of the season in 8th place at the Adam's Cup (Sept. 19-20) with a 73-70-72--215 (-1)...Finished inside the top-30 for the third straight week in a tie for 28th with a 75-74-74--223 (+13) at the Gridiron Intercollegiate (Sept. 26-27)...Tied for 66th with a 74-81--155 (+15) at Big Five Invitational (Oct. 8-9)...Carded a 78-76-78--232 (+16) at the Blackthorn Intercollegiate (Oct. 14-16) to finish in 59th.

2010-11: Played in five events in his sophomore season and had a 76.50 stroke average... Had a top-10 and top-20 finish... Logged a 19th place finish at the Big 5 Invitational with a 74-72--146 (+6)... Came in a tie for 50th with a 79-78--157 (+13) at the Lincoln Mercury Invitational...Dropped both of his matches at the Match Play in the spring's opening event (Feb. 11-12)...Had his best finish of the season at the Wildcat Invitational (April 3-4) in 3rd place alone with a 70-72--142 (E)... Finished 58th at the BIG EAST Championships (April 17-19) with a score of 85-79-76--240 (+27).

2009-10: Played in 11 events in his first season as a Wildcat... opened the season with a 74-75--149 (+7) at the Navy Fall Classic (Sept 12-13) which put him in 36th place... carded the best score of his Villanova career with a 72-78-70 (+4) at the Sea Trails Intercollegiate (Sept 25-27)...participated in the Match Play Championship (Oct 30-Nov 1)... notched his second best finish of the season in 24th place with a 75-79-73--227 (+11) at the ReBath Invitational (Feb 22-23)... led the Wildcats at the USF Invitational (March 5-7) with a 75-74-73--222 (+6)... finished in his highest position of the season in 23rd place at the BIG EAST Championships (April 18-20) with a 75-74-73--222 (+9)

Personal: Born 7/1/91 in Morristown, N.J... Parents are Mark and Ashley Skurla... One sister, Sarah... Father Mark played Tennis at the University of Delaware... 2006-2009 All-Conference Selection...2007-2009 Team MVP... Chose Villanova because of the academics... Enrolled as a Management major in the Villanova School of Business.
