The Villanova University Football team finished the 1999 season ranked in the top 25 in three polls, marking the third time in the last four years that the Wildcats have ended the year nationally ranked. In the Sports Network poll, the Wildcats were rated No. 24 in the final poll, while the Teamlink.com and USA Today/ESPN polls had Villanova No. 25.

Head Coach Andy Talley and the Wildcats posted a 7-4 overall record and a 6-2 Atlantic 10 Conference mark in 1999.
