VILLANOVA, PA. - Ten Villanova football student-athletes were honored by the Atlantic-10 on its Academic All-Conference Team announced on Wednesday. The Wildcats placed the second-most players on the team, which is comprise of student-athletes who have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 and are a starter of key reserve.

The honor is the second of the season for senior defensive back Raymond Ventrone and senior center Michael Finn, who were recognized as District II Academic All-Americans in November.

Joining Finn on the offensive team are kickers Noah Hoffman and Adam James, linemen Mike Roseman and Jason Saks and tight end Anthony Wright.

On the defensive squad, Carmen Defrancesco, Brian Hulea and Dan Silva were each honored for their achievements.

The Atlantic-10 Academic team included 65 student-athletes, 32 on offense and 33 on defense.
