Kukucka Earns Weekly CAA Honors

RICHMOND, Va. - Villanova University sophomore defensive end Tim Kukucka has been named CAA CO-Defensive Player of the Week. Kukucka earns the award for his performance in last Saturday's 14-12 win over Towson.

In the victory over Towson, Kukucka tallied five solo tackles, three tackles for a loss of 19 yards, two quarterback sacks for a loss of 15 yards and two forced fumbles. After 10 games this season, Kukucka has 36 total tackles, a team-high 12 tackles for loss, a team-best seven sacks to go with a team-leading three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Kukucka and the Wildcats will close out the 2007 season on Saturday, Nov. 20 when Villanova plays host to arch rival Delaware. Kickoff at Villanova Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m.
