VILLANOVA, Pa.--A battle of two ranked teams is in store during Homecoming Weekend as No. 19 Villanova (6-2, 4-1 CAA) hosts No. 23 Towson (3-4, 2-2 CAA) at Villanova Stadium on Saturday afternoon. This year's Homecoming game is sponsored by Lowe's Home Improvement and kicks off at 3:30 p.m. during a busy week of events om campus. Saturday's football game will also be televised live on the Comcast Network.

Following a 49-24 victory on the road at Georgia State last weekend the Wildcats jumped five spots in the Sports Network national poll this week. Villanova has posted victory margins of 21 or more points in each of its four CAA victories this season and has racked up 997 yards of total offense in its last two games alone.

Wildcats Beaten By Towson, 31-10, in CAA Football Opener
Turnovers were a key story for the second straight game and No. 20 Villanova (0-2, 0-1 CAA) was defeated, 31-10, in its conference opener at Towson (2-0, 1-0 CAA) at Johnny Unitas Stadium on Saturday night. Three turnovers by the Wildcats led to 17 of the Tigers 31 points and Villanova fell behind 21-0 before getting on the board for the first time.
