Wildcats Fall to No. 21 Old Dominion, 37-14, in Homecoming Game
In the first meeting ever between the schools Villanova (1-7, 0-5 CAA) lost by a score of 37-14 to No. 21 Old Dominion (6-2, 3-2 CAA) in the annual Homecoming Game at Villanova Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The contest was the fourth in as many weeks for the Wildcats against a nationally-ranked opponent.

Both the Wildcats and the Monarchs played Richmond in their most recent games. Villanova was defeated at home by the Spiders last Saturday evening by a score of 28-17, while Old Dominion registered a 45-37 win at Richmond on September 29 and is now coming off a bye week.

Saturday's game marks the third time in the last four weeks that the Wildcats are going on the road. This will also be just the second meeting between Villanova and the Monarchs, who played at Villanova Stadium last season. Old Dominion won that encounter, 37-14, on October 22, 2011.
