John Robertson Earns Third Straight Rookie of the Week Honor
John Robertson had a career high 268 yards of total offense in a 24-8 win over Penn.

RICHMOND, Va.--For the third consecutive week, Villanova University redshirt freshman quarterback John Robertson has been named the CAA Rookie of the Week. Robertson earns the honor for his play in Saturday's 24-8 win over the Penn Quakers.

In the victory, Robertson completed 13-of-20 for a career-high 213 yards and one touchdown. He also registered eight carries for 55 yards and a score. His 268 yards of total is also a career-best performance.

Robertson is now 3-0 as the team's starting quarterback. After four games he ranks second on the team in rushing with 242 yards on 48 carries (5.0 yards per carry). He also owns a team-high tying four rushing scores. Robertson has completed 44-of-81 for 597 yards and two touchdowns.

Villanova returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 29, when the Wildcats travel to Orono, Maine to take on the Maine Black Bears. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
