Why wait until the fall to see your favorite gridiron greats in action when you can get an up close look at the 2000 Wildcats this spring. On Sunday, April 16, the annual blue/white spring football game will take place at Villanova Stadium. The game will begin at 1 p.m and admission is free.

Head coach Andy Talley and the Wildcats are coming off a 7-4 season that saw them finish the year ranked No. 24 in the nation. This is the third time in the last four years that Villanova has been nationally ranked to end the season.

Villanova will open its 2000 season at I-A Rutgers on Saturday, Sept. 2. The Wildcats play their home opener on Saturday, Sept. 9 against Millersville.
