Villanova Inks 19 Players to National Letters of Intent

Villanova University head football coach Andy Talley today announced the signing of 19 recruits to National Letters of Intent. The 19 newcomers will enroll at Villanova in the fall and be members of the 2011 Wildcat team.
The Wildcats are coming off a season where they finished 9-5 overall and advanced to the national semifinals for the second consecutive season. A year earlier, Villanova captured the 2009 FCS national championship.
New Jersey natives accounted for eight of the 19 signings, followed by Pennsylvania with five. All total, seven different states were represented in the recruiting class. In addition to New Jersey and Pennsylvania, two players were from Florida with one each from North Carolina, Minnesota, Ohio and California.
