DURHAM, N.H. (AP)- Ricky Santos completed 28 of 33 pass attempts for 371 yards and five touchdowns to push the University of New Hampshire to a 45-17 victory against Villanova University on Saturday.

New Hampshire (4-0, 2-0) scored on their first play when Santos threw a backwards pass to Mike Boyle who flipped the ball back to Santos. He passed to David Ball for a 66-yard touchdown pass.

The teams traded touchdowns in the second quarter as New Hampshire scored on drives of 97 and 93 yards. A 34-yard pass play from Frank Jankowski to J.J. Outlaw pulled Villanova (2-2, 1-1) within 21-10 but Boyle's 22-yard touchdown run pushed the advantage back to 28-10.

A 22-yard Jankowski to Outlaw strike made it 28-17 at 4:47 but Santos connected with Ball on an 18-yard pass play to close the first half at 35-17.

New Hampshire opened the third quarter with a 77-yard drive that culminated in a 14-yard Santos to Keith LeVan pass play to make it 42-17. Connor McCormick made a 34-yard field goal attempt to close the scoring at 3:50 of the third quarter.
