A newcomer to the Villanova staff in 2011 is Justin Stovall who will work with the Wildcat defense.
Stovall arrives at Villanova from Franklin & Marshall College where he was the linebackers coach in 2009 and 2010. He was also responsible for the team's punt return unit during the 2010 season. Under his direction in 2010, Sam Massaro earned first team All-Conference accolades from his linebacker position and the punt return team averaged 11.2 yards per return.
Stovall played collegiately at Lafayette College from 2003-06 where he was a four-year letterwinner at linebacker. During his career, he played in 46 of 47 career games and in 2006 he served as a team captain. Stovall was a part of three straight Patriot League championship and NCAA playoff teams at Lafayette.
Stovall is single and resides in Villanova, Pa.
