Returning for his second year on the Villanova coaching staff in 2011 is Nick Kray who will be an assistant coach for the team and work with the offense as well as assisting with special teams.
Kray arrived at Villanova from Eastern Illinois University where he was the defensive ends and defensive quality coach from 2008-09. During his stint at Eastern Illinois, the Panthers won the 2009 Ohio Valley championship and he helped coach defensive end Pierre Walters to All-American status, and defensive linemen Donavon Johnson and Perry Burge to second team All-Conference honors. Kray's other duties at Eastern Illinois included assisting with the special teams, coordinating the scout team, overseeing the scouting and film breakdown of opponents and recruiting the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
He is a 2008 graduate of Eastern Illinois where he earned a physical education degree with a minor in drivers education and health studies. Kray played football at Eastern Illinois where he was a member of two Ohio Valley Conference championship and three FCS playoff teams. He served as a team co-captain in 2006 and team captain in 2007.
Kray is single and resides in Villanova, Pa.
