Justus Galac begins his seventh year on the Villanova staff in 2011. After serving as both a defensive assistant and strength & conditioning coach in 2005 and 2006, Galac returns for his fifth year as the team's strength & conditioning coach in 2011.
In 2010, Galac was rewarded for his efforts when he named the Samson FCS Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year.
Galac arrived at Villanova from Dickinson College where he was a graduate assistant coach. In 2003, he was the team's defensive tackles coach, while in 2004 he coached the entire defensive line. Galac also served as the head junior varsity coach and Defensive Coordinator at Dickinson. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, SUNY College at Brockport, as a student assistant in 2002.
During his playing days at SUNY College at Brockport, Galac started two years at nose tackle and earned three varsity letters. Galac was a co-captain in 2001 and helped lead the team to the NCAA playoffs in 2000 and 2001. He is single and resides in Philadelphia, Pa.
