Allyn Bacchus is a newcomer to the Wildcat coaching staff in 2007. He will assist with film breakdown and will help coach the Villanova secondary. Bacchus is no stranger to the Wildcat program, having played on the Main Line from 2003-06. During his playing days, Bacchus started all 44 games of his Villanova career and tallied 374 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, three interceptions, three fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles and 13 pass break-ups.
As a senior in 2006, Bacchus served as a team captain and led Villanova in tackles (103), interceptions (two) and fumble recoveries (two). For his efforst in 2006, he was named first team All-Atlantic 10 and a third team Sports Network All-American. He also earned second team All-Atlantic 10 honors as a junior in 2005.
Bacchus graduated from Villanova in May, 2007 with a Secondary Education Degree. He was also a three-time Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team honoree.
Bacchus is single and resides in Villanova, Pa.
